We produce drawings on a sub-let basis for a large range of different types of projects from across the construction field and for a number of regular and new clients. We have a large amount of models, made over the years for steelwork fabricators we have formed long business relationships with. Steelwork for Large Residential Property near London
This project is 6 bedroom dwelling set over 3 floors in a popular London Suburb. The construction was mixed with steel partially forming supports for the 1st and 2nd floors and a mixed roof construction of part Softwood and part Steelwork. The hips and valleys were set out in accordance with the Architects drawings.
Steel for Balcony Structures
This Balcony project was fabricated from structural steelwork, the balconies were required on 3 new multi-storey units in a courtyard setting. The columns are simple with supports fixed to the new buildings at every level. Cold rolled decking beams are supporting mild steel plate and then finishes over.
Supporting Structure
This supporting structure provided temporary supports for the site offices / health and welfare facilities on a large construction project in London. Heavy section beams were erected above an existing covered entrance ramp in order to support the offices above. The longest Heavy sections you see in green were 18m.
Steel Fabrication Drawings For Children's Hospice
The structure below formed the main structural steel elements of a Children's Hospice. The Steelwork provided support for Pre-cast concrete units. The design comprised of a central hub with wings with facilities in four directions on plan.
Spiral Staircases
We are always keen to engage in interesting structural steel drawings that require a different approach to the model. Here is a spiral steel staircase which provides a single storey fire escape facility to an office unit.
Treads and Landings
The treads and landings are durbar plate. Here, the treads are cantilevered off the central circular column and the treads are pressed into a "zed" profile prior to assembly. Spiral Staircases often provide an elegant alternative to a traditional staircase and generally lower the size of the structures footprint, arguably However, they are (slightly) harder to navigate.
Existing Structure
This Staircase was connected to the existing steel structure using brackets placed within the building envolope, we provied site drilling details and levels so that the existing structure could be prepared prior to the erection of the staircase, we also provided custom Arrangement and assembly drawings plus developments for the tube to tube connections. Sports Center Escape Staircase
The example Below is of an internal escape staircase fabricated for a sports hall. The stringers are cranked PFC's with prepared butt welds, shop assembled from drawings and the 3d model we provided. The handrailing was also fully shop welded into panels before being treated, them delivered and erected all to our drawings and model which was 100% accurate. Our client was delighted with the results!

The project below is a recently built steel framed beam and column refurbishment contract with some rigid connections / bracings and hollow section columns. for a mixed use terraced property
